Martha Broughton Ward

Martha Broughton Ward age 86 of South Knoxville, passed away suddenly Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her home. She was a member of Miracle Baptist Church, and retired from the Office of Hearings and Appeals with the Tennessee Valley Authority. Preceded in death by parents; John and Lucille Blake, daughter; Gail Broughton, son; Thomas Broughton, sister; Lorene Potter, and the father of her children; Charles Broughton. Survivors; Daughter, Sheila Broughton, Grandchildren; Mandy (Dustin) McCubbins, Rita Rhoades, and Matthew (Cassia) Cameron; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Sister; Laura Hobbs, brother; Kenneth (Deanna) Blake, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 12:00 pm funeral service, Rev. Steve Beeler officiating.
