Mark Anthony Henderson

July 10, 1957 — December 16, 2022

Mark Anthony Henderson, age 65 of Knoxville, passed away December 16, 2022. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy and an employee of CVS transport. Mark will be remembered for the love he showed his grandkids, his big personality and positive attitude. He was an avid UT football fan, who never met a stranger. Preceded in death by mother Doris Henderson, father and step-mother Earl and Ruth Henderson, brothers Gregory Earl and Elbert “Butch” C. Smith. Survived by children Beau Henderson (Kristy), Chelsea Henderson, and Austin Henderson, grandchildren Parker and Reagan Henderson, Trinity Shadden, Aleah and Marlee Henderson, siblings Tonya Jones (Frank) and Jimmy Henderson and son Michael, step-siblings Brenda Berry, and Larry and Spencer Marshall, several nieces and nephews, his Naval shipmates, and too many lifelong friends to mention, all of whom Mark considered to be his best friends. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mark’s honor, www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
