Marjorie was a woman who found her greatest joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved spending time with her family, especially attending family reunions where laughter and stories were shared for hours. She could often be found enjoying her favorite television programs, including Judge Judy and crime shows, or relaxing on her porch, taking in the quiet comfort of home.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Davenport, Sr.; her parents, James and WillieMae Kennedy; her sons, James Davenport and Marvin Davenport II; her sisters, Anna Lowe, Mary “Liz” Fallis, and Charlotte Swafford; and her brothers, Jim Kennedy, John Kennedy, Ed Kennedy, Bobby Jo Kennedy, and Tom Kennedy.

Marjorie leaves behind a loving legacy through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory and carry her spirit forward.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her warmth, love of family, and quiet strength will never be forgotten.
