Marilyn Sue Simpson

Marilyn Sue Simpson, 74, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on January, 4, 2026 surrounded by her family. Marilyn had over 30 years of experience working at Hillcrest Beverly as a CNA. She was always there for her family at all cost. She also was a tough cookie and loving person. She never liked others telling her what to do. Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Justin Ryan “Ogg” Mynatt; her parents, Anna Mae and William Mckinley Hannah; brothers, Wade Hannah and Billy Hannah; sisters, Betty Henderson, Polly Holt, Dorothy Faulkner and Thelma Welch. She is survived by her sister, Wilma Boling; daughters, Casey Mynatt and Amy Miller. She also had 2 lovely granddaughters, Hannah Cheyenne Miller, and Madison Justine Ryan Miller; and several nieces and nephews. 

The Family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
