Margaret Maner Adcock

Margaret Maner Adcock, of Powell, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church until her health prevented her from attending. She was preceded in death by husbands William “Bill” Adcock and James “Red” Williams, parents Roy and Edna Thomas Maner, brother Dewey Roy Maner and sister Bonnie Hill. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law Alvin and Phyllis Maner, sisters Nina Whitehead of Heiskell, Charlotte West of Powell, and Barbara Hall of Halls, and special nieces and nephews Charlene Bowling, Patti McGee, Wendell and Brian Hall, Kevin and Gary Whitehead, and Brook Maner Greene. The family would like to extend special thanks to her church family and friends for their love and loyal friendships during her illness. The family will receive friends 12-1 PM Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 1 PM with Rev. John Sexton and Rev. David Stooksbury officiating. Family and friends will then proceed to New Gray Cemetery for interment. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
