Margaret Holtzclaw

Margaret Ann Holtzclaw passed away at her home in Maryville on December 31, 2022 at the age of 81. She drove a bus for Fountain City School district for many years and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She had a vibrant personality and will be missed by all who knew her. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Donald Lee Holtzclaw; parents Lewis and Hazel Collins; birth parents Charlie Price and Stella Rader; siblings Carolyn Bales, Charlene Hester, Jewell Smith, Billie Thompson, Jimmy Price, and Robert Price; and step-daughter Sandra Lee Holtzclaw. She is survived by her sons Tommy (Tammy) Lakins and Donald Wayne (Jina) Holtzclaw; step-daughter Kathleen (Rob) Carreno; grandchildren Logan Holtzclaw, Weslen Lakins, Ashley Brooks, and Sarah Hawthorne; great-grandsons Noah Holtzclaw, Drake Wright, and Cade Wright; sister Glenda Skaggs; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 12:30 PM January 20, 2023 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 2200 Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, Tn for an 12:30 PM interment service. Alan Hill will be officiating the Inurnment service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Hospital.
