Margaret Jeanette Bright

Margaret Jeanette (Jean) Bright of Knoxville, Tennessee, age 87, passed away on April 3rd, 2025, at her residence. 

Margaret was retired from her position as a supervisor at the Knoxville Pension Board. She was a devout follower of Christ who made it her mission to live out her faith every day. She was a faithful wife who deeply loved her children and always encouraged them to pursue their dreams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Bright; mother, Lucy Turner; stepfather, Kenneth Turner; father, John Henderlight; brothers, J.D. Henderlight, Verlin (Bob) Henderlight; sister, Blanche Foust.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Sherry Shmdelar, and spouse, John W. Shmdelar; son, William (Charles) Bright; son, Richard, and his late wife, Brenda Coker; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at Greenwood cemetery at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 7th, 2025.
