Marcus "Mark" Burleson

Marcus D. “Mark” Burleson, age 75 of Powell, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 2^nd, 2023. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Navy. Retired from PBR Inc. Mark loved fishing more than anything and also loved sports.

Preceded in death by mother, Betty (Ray) Turner; father, William Burleson; sister, Marilyn Burleson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Walker and Lucas Kiley.

Survived by his wife of 35 years, Marty Burleson; daughters, Marca (Donovan) Hance and Carrie (Kevin) Kiley; step-children, Wendy Haire and Scott Dyer; grandchildren, Timothy Hance, Cannon and Conner Haire, Jasmine Dyer; great-grandchildren, Addyson Lane, Gabe Hance, Carter Andrews, Kyree Watkins; brother, Michael (Karen) Burleson.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 8^th, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 6:00pm, officiated by Pastor Mark Kirk from Calvary Chapel Knoxville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com
