Margaret Cobble Watson

Margaret Cobble Watson, age 94, of Powell, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She was born in Chicago, IL, and grew up in Maynardville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Shannon Wolfe Cooper; devoted son, Hugh Wolfe; and beloved grandson, Jordan Brinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell White, and by her former husband Ray Wolfe, the father of her children.

She is survived by her loving husband, Buster Watson; son, Steve Wolfe (Rosemary); daughter, Kathy Brinson (Bill); daughter in law, Carol Wolfe; and stepdaughter, Sharon Cramer (Joey). She is also blessed with six additional grandchildren, Melissa Billingsley, Joshua Wolfe, Tyler Wolfe, Nick Wolfe, Merry Davis and Alex Brinson. She has 19 great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She retired after many years from Rohm and Haas. She loved her family deeply and was happiest when surrounded by them. She especially enjoyed playing hand and foot with her friends and family, creating cherished memories around the card table. She was a faithful homebound member of Salem Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with a service to follow at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Allen James. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, for an 11:00 AM interment.

Her family is grateful for her long, full life and the legacy of love and faith she leaves behind.
