Mabel Irene Dawson

Mabel Dawson, age 94 of Halls, went home to we with the Lord on November 4, 2012. She was a member of Ailordale Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her son, Doyle Edward Dawson; husband, Rev. Leon Charlie Dawson. Survivors include daughters, Loretta (Sissy) Foster, Carolyn Marcum-Loy; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services 8:00 pm Friday at Dante Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Carver, Rev. Phillip Murphy, Rev. Jody Darden officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Dante Baptist Church.
