Louiyas Jeudy was born May 8, 1958, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 8, 2024.
Proceeded in death by parents: Francois Jeudy and Venita Merandisse, Son: Angelo Jeudy, Brothers: Lisaj Jeudy and Krentye Jeudy, Sisters: Meprinize Jeudy and Rhita Jeudy.
Louiyas and the love of his life, Jeanna, were blessed with a large family; 12 children: Francois (Elizabeth) Jeudy, Frantzco (Dana) Jeudy, Frantzcia Jeudy, Benita (Leo) Piety, Francin Jeudy, Mirlando Jeudy, Mirlanda Jeudy, Jean Luck Jeudy, Louikenson Jeudy, Elina Jeudy, and Jawoodson Jeudy. In addition, Louiyas is survived by his 4 Grandchildren, Eliyane Jeudy, Wood-Naika Content, Dawensly Jeudy and Elijah Jeudy; Sister, Toutoune Jeudy; Brother, Nerveyis Jeudy.
Louiyas was a wonderful father. He loved his family, and nothing made him happier that being with his children and grandchildren. He worked hard to provide for his family. No matter how hot, cold, or rainy, he was always the first one awake in the mornings and the last to go to sleep. Although he was shy man of few words and never wanted to be the center of attention, he was always the first one to help others in the community that were in need. He was a positive person and always saw the best in people. He never complained when life got hard. He almost lost everything several times during Haiti's hurricane seasons, but he always said, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." He didn't have many big dreams. The last of his dreams was to visit the United States and to see his daughter again after 12 years. He was able to realize those dreams in November 2023. After years of labor, today he is resting in the arms of Jesus.
Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm, Pastor Colby Dorcely and Pasteur Colbert Dorcely officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45am Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for at 10:00am interment service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Mynatt Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
