Louis Wayne Justice

Wayne Justice, 77, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was a man who loved the Lord deeply, and he lived that love out loud.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Juanita Justice and his brother, Rick Justice.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Justice; daughters, Melissa Mayes (Bobby), and Christy Bailey (Darren); grandchildren, Emily Pierce, Madilyn Bailey, Julia Pierce (Marc), Chloe Acosta (Christian), and Levi Bailey; great granddaughters, Elena and Eliza Acosta; siblings Bruce Justice (Judy), Judy Breeding (Bill), Kenny Justice (Lilly); and special niece, Beth Polson (Matt).

Wayne was a devoted husband of 58 years, whose love was not just spoken, but practiced patiently, with great joy. He was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather, anchoring his family with wisdom, humility, and grace. His heart was so filled with the Love of the Father, that he also became a father figure to many around him.

The mercy of God flowed naturally from him, and he was drawn to those who were overlooked and hurting. He never met a stranger and was compassionate, generous, and endlessly giving. He made people feel seen and valued, and the love of God that radiated from him changed lives profoundly.

His legacy was immense and it will live on through his family and all those he loved and touched with his unwavering faith. His was a life well lived, well loved, and well given.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Trinity Community Church 6706 Central Ave Pike. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM with the service to follow at 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Wayne Justice Hands of Mercy Memorial fund, to assist the elderly and fixed income residents of the Tiny Towne Community that he loved so dearly.
