Loretta Marie Mitchell

Loretta Marie Mitchell, age 65, of Mascot, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday. September 11, 2024. She was a member of Portland Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving, selfless woman who would help anyone in need.

Preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mitchell; parents, William Hounschell Sr. and Gracie Thompson; siblings, William Hounschell Jr., Mary Young, John Hounschell, Paul Hounschell, Steven Hounschell, Dennis Hounschell, and Maggie Hounschell.

Loretta is survived by her children, David (Kimberly) Mitchell, Steven (Marissa) Mitchell, Rebecca (Daniel) Headrick, Jimmy (Traci) Mitchell, Jason (Diane) Mitchell; grandchildren, Kellie, Kristin, Devon, Austin, Valerie, Colton, Emily, Katelynn, Alexis, Hunter, Jacob, Emma, Bradley and Marie; great grandchildren, Blair and Zander; siblings, Tim Hounschell, Delilah Hounschell, Elizabeth Ann Vaughn, Molly Gernenz, and David Hounschell; as well as special great nieces; Ashley Tate and Sommer Ray.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a service to follow. Following the chapel service, family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery for an interment. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
