Lora Lee Jenkins

Lora Lee Rupert Jenkins, age 87, of Halls Crossroads, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, and taught Sunday School there for many years. Lora and Robert operated Highland View Orchard for numerous years and enjoyed teaching local school children about farm life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pierce Jenkins; and sister, Mary Ellen Leland (Jeff).

She is survived by children, Dawn Shaver (Kenny), Christy Shuster (Doug), John Jenkins (Robin), Bob Jenkins (Cynthia), and Mark Jenkins (Carolyn); grandchildren, Jessica Sarver (Justin), Jennifer Lester (Ward), Candace Jenkins, Victoria Reichard (Joe), Timothy Jenkins, Elaina Gore (Skyler), Hannah Upchurch (Luke), Lora Smith (Ross), Philip Jenkins, Bonnie Valerio (Tom), Vanessa Jenkins and Rebecca Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Joshua Sarver, Aidan Lester, Parker Upchurch and Piper Upchurch; and siblings, Dave Rupert (Mary),Carolyn Weberg (Sherman) and Debbie White (Dave).

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Wellington Manor for taking great care of Lora Jenkins.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service.
