Lois Virginia Morton Gaddis

Lois Virginia Morton Gaddis, age 77, passed away March 5, 2016. She was of the Baptist faith and was a switchboard operator at the Knoxville News Sentinel and a clerk at Goodwill Industries. Preceded in death by parents William C. and Bertha Mae Morton; children Daniel Lloyd “Baby Danny” Akers; and grandson Jason Allen Treece. Survived by daughter Susan Munsey and husband Ronnie; son Scott Colby and wife Avelina; grandchildren Kimberly, Dustin, Brandon and Kamaryn; great-grandchildren Olivia, Avery, Madison, Justice, Jaiden, Jalia and Jaxson; sister Wanda Casola; former husband and caretaker Larry Gaddis; and special and lifelong companion Bandit. Funeral service will be held 8:00pm, Wednesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet 10:45am, Thursday, at Shady Grove Cemetery for interment at 11:00am. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
