Lisa Dawn Loveday passed in the early hours of Monday, March 18, 2024 after suffering a fatal stroke on Saturday, March 9th. She would want the world to know that she was a heavy metal loving hippie who partied hard and loved even harder. She loved Anne Rice Novels, The Muppets, John Denver, and the Nine Inch Nails. She welcomed all comers and made them feel at home to the point of her own detriment. After a 40 year battle with addiction, Lisa spent the last decade losing that fight, but through it all she never stopped saying how proud she was of her two sons and the men they were growing up to be. Her favorite bumper sticker claimed that “Mean People Suck” and she wasn’t wrong.
She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Carol Miller, siblings Melanie Waller and Russell Miller, sons Daniel Lynn Evans and Gabriel Martin Loveday, and the greatest thing that ever happened to her: James Grant Loveday.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Friday, March 22, 2024, immediately followed by a 7:00 pm memorial service. In lieu of flowers we kindly ask that you donate to the Lisa Dawn Loveday Memorial Fund.
