Lisa Adkins

Lisa L Adkins, age 59 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2023. 

 

A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be missed by many.  Lisa never met a stranger.  She wore her heart on her sleeve and was always kind and giving to anyone in need.  Her pride and joy was her family.  She loved traveling with her sisters, hosting family gatherings, and entertaining everyone with her many stories and tales.  She considered her family to be her biggest accomplishment in life. 

 

She was preceded in death by her dad Hugh McDaniel, mom Lorene McDaniel, daughter Jennifer Doyle, sister Tina Edmonds, nephew Matt Edmonds, and nephew baby Calvin Benn Jr. 

 

She is survived by her husband Danny Adkins, daughters; Britney Troutt, Michelle (Aaron) Cormack, Delana Troutt, Heather (Billy) Doneski, and Denise Adkins, sons; Danny Adkins Jr., Derrel Elsberry, Nathan Adkins, Alexx Adkins, and Elyga Adkins, sisters; Carolyn Simonsen, Barbara (Barry) Weiss, and Christine Kirkpatrick (Leon Jackson), brother; David Edmonds, many precious grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
