Linda Newman

Linda Housholder Newman, age 81, of Knoxville passed away early Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Sacred Ground Hospice House. She was employed by Dr. E.B. Noxon, Urologist for 25 years and a member of Salem Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Evelyn Housholder and sister-in-law, Martha Hoffmeister. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years, Paul Newman; son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Lois Newman; her furbaby, Puddles; grandchildren, Laken Newman (Riley Zello) and Riley Hester; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Palmer (Bob); brother-in-law, Danny Newman (Evelyn). The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service with Rev. John Holland officiating.
