Linda Marie Cross Foirster

Linda Marie Cross Foirster, age 81, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Tennova North Hospital in Powell, Tennessee. She was born September 6, 1942 in Knoxville, Tennessee, as the first child of Lawrence Andrew Cross and Martha Marie Carter Cross. Linda retired as a registered nurse from St. Mary's Medical Center after 38 years of service. Linda was the most kind, loving, and generous person you would ever want to meet. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Marie Cross, her brother Mark Randall Cross, and nephew Evan Cross. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald Foirster, her son Eric Foirster, sisters Marlene (Bob) Leeds, Carolyn (Wayne) Dukes, Susan (Joe) McTeer, brother Larry (Kay) Cross. She loved all her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children, she was their "aunt Lulu". Nephews Mark (Stephaney) Dukes, Josh (Melissa) Cross, nieces Stacy (David) Mowry, Kaitlin Cross, grandnephews: Logan (Kelli) Dukes, Jacob (Victoria) Nicely, Jadon Mowry, Jonathan Cross, Maverick Dukes, Maddon Dukes, Maquire Dukes and Jayden Hurt; grand nieces: Courtney (Adam) Chapman, Morgan (Justin) Mynatt, Isabella Mowry, Lauren Cross, Kathryn Cross, Madeline Cross, Amanda Kirkham and Hannah Kirkham; great grand nephews Lawson Dukes, Kellen Nicely, Tripp Nicely, River, Hudson, and Sawyer Mynatt, great grand nieces Carter Chapman, Hensley Dukes, and Sadie Mynatt. Graveside services will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery on Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 1:00pm. The graveside services will be officiated by Reverend David Mowry and Jacob Nicely.
