Linda Mae Hamilton

Linda Hamilton, life-long resident of Knoxville, TN, died peacefully on 10/29/2023 after a long battle with dementia. Linda was born May 25th 1943 in Knoxville, TN to the late Frank and Reva (Miller) Wilson. Linda is survived by her two children, Randall and wife Lisa, and Tiffany Davis; her four grandchildren, Alexander Hamilton and wife Abby, Cassia Bowling and husband Alex, Aaron Davis, and Aspen Davis; her two great grandchildren, Zelda Hamilton and Ollivander Bowling; Sisters, Sally Davis and Husband Ray, twin sister Brenda Reynolds, Katy Wade and Husband Dewey, Mary Nell Onks and Gene; Brothers, David Wilson and Wife Lou and Jim Wilson and wife Diane; and a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Hamilton; her daughter, Yvette Hamilton, her sister, Marcy Spurgeon; Her Brothers Wayne Wilson and Carrnell Wilson. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Norwood Methodist Church. She loved spending time with friends and family and was a very sociable person. Linda loved to be outside in her yard working with her flowers, which she took great pride in. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Linda’s visitation will be held at Norwood Methodist Church on Merchants Drive from 11:30am -2:30pm on Saturday, November 11th 2023.
