Linda Campbell Braden

Linda Campbell Braden, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.   When her children were younger, she worked in the both Halls Middle and Halls High School cafeteria.  Linda was a devout Christian and a member of Salem Baptist church.  She enjoyed crocheting, volunteering and singing in the choir, and will forever be remembered by those who love her as a good Christian Woman.  

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Hollis James Braden; parents, Claude and Verbyne (Harris) Campbell; and by her baby brother, Ronald.

Linda is survived by her children, Pam Henegar (Lonnie), Toni Caughron (Rick), and Gwyn Beeler (Jason); grandchildren, Linda Mae Burke (Michael), Holly Henegar, Chris Caughron (Charlise); Ashley Caughron Dorsey (Aaron), Mindy Meredith (Dustin), Chelsey Thacker (Jesse), Justin Beeler, and Zack Beeler; great-grandchildren, Katherine Burke, Abigail Burke, Austin Dorsey, Addy Jo Meredith, Neyland Meredith, Aliya Meredith, brother, Joel Campbell (Janie); and finally great-grandbaby-girl due in July.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the funeral service to be at 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Pastor Allen James officiating.

Linda will be laid to rest at Fort Sumter Cemetery (4846 Salem Church Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938) on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 am.
