In loving memory, we celebrate the beautiful life of Linda Darlene Blazier, who left us peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, following a brief illness. Linda was born on September 15, 1949, in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she spent much of her life bringing warmth and joy to everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
Linda was the beloved wife of the late Kyle Edward "Eddie" Blazier, her high school sweetheart, whom she married in 1971. Together, they enjoyed 47 fulfilling years of marriage filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams. Their union was an inspiring testament to partnership and devotion, and Linda often spoke of Eddie as her greatest love and constant companion.
A proud graduate of the Class of 1967 at Halls High School, Linda pursued her passion for beauty and style at the Tennessee School of Beauty. Her career was diverse and impactful, as she worked in various roles, including at the Knox County Sheriff's Office, the County Clerk's Office, and later as a successful realtor. However, Linda found her greatest fulfillment in her role as a stay-at-home mom, where she devoted her life to nurturing her children and creating a loving home environment.
She is survived by her son, Keith Blazier, and his wife Sandy; her daughter, Kristin Blazier-Wolfenbarger, and her husband Zack; and her cherished granddaughter, Kiley, who brought her boundless joy and delight. She is also survived by her loving sister, Teresa Vaughn, and her brother, John Sanders and his wife Kathy, who each held a special place in her heart. Linda's family was her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She was predeceased by her dear daughter, Kelly, whose memory Linda carried with her always; her devoted husband, Eddie; and her parents, Geraldine Beeler and John Forrest Sanders.
Linda's greatest joy was raising her children and spending quality time with her family. She loved gathering her family around the table, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
As we say goodbye, the family finds comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her dear Eddie and Kelly, and that her legacy of love and strength will continue to guide and inspire us.
The family would like to thank the wonderful nursing staff at Ft. Sanders, Parkwest, Patricia Neal West, and Sacred Grounds Hospice for their exemplary care and compassion.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 3:00-5:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel followed by a 5:00 PM Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Randy Jones.
