Lester Harlan Underwood

Lester H. Underwood age 76 of Strawberry Plains passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020. He was of the Baptist faith. He was the owner of B&G Motors, Lester is preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Velma Fraze Underwood; sons, Mark Anthony Underwood and Lester Jr. (Tiger) Underwood. He is succeeded by his beloved fiancé Bonnie Hitch; daughter, Debra (Jason) Collins; brothers, Wayne (Edna) and Speedy Underwood. Lester also known as “Pappy” leaves behind several grandkids and great grandkids, nieces and nephews. Lester/Pappy will be missed by all who truly knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers you can donate to Paw-Paw Hollow Baptist Church building fund or a charity of your choice in Lester’s name would be greatly appreciated by the family. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Paw-Paw Hollow Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:00 pm graveside service with Rev. Ronnie White officiating.
