March 19, 1935 — October 9, 2022
Leon Porter, age 87, of Knoxville, died peacefully Sunday, October 9, 2022. He attended Dutch Valley Baptist Church and was a retired stone mason. Leon was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Porter. He is survived by his many friends, including Peggy Rouse and Jr. Sharp and families. Friends will meet 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Glenwood Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service with Reverend Charlie Reynolds officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Dutch Valley Baptist Church, 909 Dutch Valley Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918. Friends may call at their convenience Monday, October 17, 2022 between 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel.
