Leon James Malueg

Leon James Malueg, 85, born on February 24th, 1940, in Bowler, WI, he died of natural causes in Chattanooga, TN on May 31, 2025.

Leon Malueg was 85 when he died. He & his drugstore were a pillar of the Halls community for 39 years. He was a pharmacist, a farmer, family man, and occasionally he would fill in at church for the pastor, always delivering lasting messages. He could build a house from scratch & always had great advice (“get over it”).

Survived by his wife of 26 years, Valerie Malueg, his kids, Andrea Malueg, John Malueg, Gina Beard & Melissa Malueg.

A Call of Convenience will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home-Halls Chapel, located at 4131 East Emory Rd. Knoxville, TN 37938 on Thursday, June 5th from 12pm-5pm.

Family and Friends will meet up at Greenwood Cemetery located at 3500 Tazewell Pike Knoxville, TN 37918 on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 12:45pm for a 1:00pm graveside service.
