Leo James Bourque age 70 of Knoxville passed away peacefully 9:28 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6th, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired truck driver, he was a communicant at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman. He was an avid LSU football fan. Preceded in death by parents Lucille & Andrew Bourque, grandson Ryan Bourque, sisters; Shirley Ballard and Norma Hodges. Brother, Robert Bourque. Survivors Kathy Bourque, Children Rebecca (Jerry) Crowe, Gwen (Chris) and Jennifer (Shane) Bourque, Kathy (Doug) Merrick, Tonya (Kevin) Roach, Grandchildren; Jesse Messer, Sarah Guillory, Andrew Bourque, Elijah Vail, Alex Crowe, Maric Ervin, Chris Roach, Curtis Roach, Noah Roach, Sherri Messer, Numerous great-grandchildren, Sisters Linda True and Jo Ann Vickers. Numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at New Gray Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service, Father John A. Orr officiating.
