Lee Francis Bailey

Lee Francis Bailey, age 85, of Knoxville, passed away June 5, 2023. He was a member Hill Top Baptist Church. Lee retired from the Chevron Oil Company as a truck driver. He loved to drive a truck and enjoyed driving his John Deere tractor. Preceded in death by loving and devoted wife, Irene Bailey; parents, Leonard and Rosa Bailey; sister-in-law, Janice Bailey; son-in-law, Rick Tice; great-grandson, Toby Brooks.  Lee is survived by daughters, Janice McClain (Steve), Martha Brooks (Bob), Karen Watson (Doug), Teresa Tice, Pat Cooper (Jeff), and Betsy Brock (Keith), 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack Bailey, Carolyn Bailey, Larry Bailey (Linda), Gary Bailey (Penny); many cousins and extended family members.  The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with service to follow, Reverend Tim Day, Reverend Phillip Hayes, and Drew Brock officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 PM Monday, June 12, 2023, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment.
