Leanne Michelle Wyrick

Leanne Michelle Wyrick, 52 , of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, under the care of Sacred Ground Hospice.

Born September 30, 1973, Leanne lived life fully and joyfully, bringing laughter and warmth wherever she went. A hairdresser by trade and a people-person by nature, she had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen and cared for, and her chair was always filled with conversation, laughter, and love. Leanne genuinely cared for others and believed life was meant to be celebrated.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Hodson, and is survived by her mother, Brenda Hodson; her brother, Brent Hodson (and his wife, Allyson); her sons, Jake Wyrick (and his fiancée), Lilly Holston) and Max Wyrick (and his girlfriend, Grace Palmer); and her beloved niece and nephews, Elijah, Emmaline, Edan, Ezra, and Elam Hodson.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Friday, January 9, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel followed by a 7:00 pm Celebration of Life Service, Rev. Brent Hodson officiating.
