Larry Martin McCloud, age 75, of Washburn, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Isabella McCloud; his grandmother, Inez King; his sister, Barbara Richards; and his dear friend, Danny “Weebie” Weaver.
Larry proudly served his country as an Army Vietnam veteran. During his service, he formed two lifelong friendships with Stephen Gouger and John Schook, friendships that remained strong throughout the years.
Larry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially hunting and fishing. Many of his favorite memories were made alongside his best friend, Weebie. Larry was also blessed with many lifelong friends who became like family, including the Jenkins family; Clea and Trish Arnwine; Tommy and Tammy Beeler; Tony Anthony; and Delbert Weaver. The friendships and memories he shared with those he loved were an important part of his life.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Amy Springer, Christy Ryder, Gina Tilley, and Brandi Cook; his niece, Katrina Headrick; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those who knew Larry will remember him for his love of the outdoors, his loyalty to his friends, and the lasting friendships he built throughout his life. He leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7pm. On Friday, August 21, 2026, the family will meet at the funeral home at 10am and go in procession to Piney Grove Church Cemetery for the interment service at 11am.
