Larry Allen Linkes

Larry Allen Linkes, age 57, of Knoxville, TN, was surrounded by his loved ones when he gained his heavenly wings on June 16, 2025. Larry loved his girls and grandkids with unconditional love. Larry loved everyone, knew everyone, always wanted to help anyone in need, and talked nonstop to family, friends, and strangers. He never put himself first and would give up anything he had if it helped someone else. Larry consistently told jokes and pulled pranks to get laughs. He was never without a smile and a laugh. He was forever protective of his loved ones. His heart was too big for this world.

Larry had many occupations over the years, from making eyeglasses, to driving across country, but he was always a mechanic. He loved all things cars and trucks alongside his dad, brothers and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his dad, Wesley Linkes, his grandson, Jaxson Kerr, brother-in-law Rodney Kiser, grandparents, John and Ollie Linkes, Joe and June Repine, and so many uncles and Aunts.

Larry is survived by his Mother Barbara Linkes (Jerry); daughters, Kayla Linkes, Kirsten (Ryder) Mayes; grandkids, Kaelyn, Xander, Milena and Bentley; special niece, Amanda (DJ), Jaylen, Bryan, and Devyn; sister, Neoma Kiser; brothers, Wade (Nicole) Linkes and Shannon Linkes; nieces and nephews, Mark, Jordann (Chace), Briella, Megann, Jonathan, Miranda (Jaime), Isabella, Lucy and Mac; good friend, Harold McFall; aunts, uncles, and friends.

The family will receive friends, Saturday June 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, at Bethel Church of Kodak, followed by a Celebration of Life Service officiated by Rev. Gery Dingham.
