Larry Emerson Liford, Sr.

Larry E. Liford, Sr., age 79 of Heiskell, TN, born on September 1, 1944 went to be with the Lord on Monday August 19, 2024. Larry died peacefully at his home. He enjoyed woodworking, car shows, wrestling, fishing, and watching TN football. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Larry had an incredible heart. He wanted everyone in the family to feel loved. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and he will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary N. Liford. Larry had two children- son Larry E. Liford, Jr. (Karen) and daughter Rebecca L. Stalvey (Lenny). Larry had seven grandchildren: Emily (Stephen), Wayne (Ginnie), Mindy (Dylan), Wesley, Chloe, Henry, and Elsie. He had eight great-grandchildren – Carter, Lain, Jasper, Luke, Hunter, Mason, Bristol, and Liza. Lots of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

 Family will receive friends 1:30-2:30pm Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with service to follow at 2:30pm, Rev. Tom Aiken officiating. Family and friends will then proceed to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery for interment.
