Larry Eugene Lett

Larry Eugene Lett age 79, of Halls, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 31, 2026, at his home. Born August 27, 1946, to his late parents, James and Pauline Lett. Larry was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. He was a 1964 graduate of Halls High School and went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee. Larry served four years in the United States Navy, where he was stationed in the Bahamas. He worked a short time at JCPenney’s before starting his career at Walgreen’s as a Manager, going on to retire after 25 years. Larry enjoyed watching all UT sports, cutting wood and caring for his lawn.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his older brothers, Edsel and Wayne Lett; older sisters, Imogene Marsh, Marian French and Elenor Lett. Larry leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 7, 2026, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Sharon Baptist Church, followed by an 11:00 AM Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Mark McCoig and Rev. Dr. James Robertson. An online obituary may be viewed, and condolences made at www.mynattfh.com.
