Krista and Grayson Latham

Krista Latham age 31 and Grayson Latham age 10 of Knoxville, went to be with Jesus suddenly on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Krista was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved spending time with her family and she had 3 sons and a daughter. Krista always made sure they were loved and taken care of. Krista was a professional hair dresser at Simply Hair and Nails, where she loved the Christian atmosphere. She was preceded in death by her son, Grayson; grandmother, Nancy Murray; grandfathers, Howard Murray and Othie Latham. Survivors; children, Bentlee and Lennon Latham, Walker Maples; parents, Eula and Mark Latham; brother, Mark (Amanda) Latham II; nieces, Mackenzie Latham, Grace Latham, Morgan Latham, Natalee Latham, nephew, Mark Latham III “Bubba”. Grandmother, Susan Latham, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Grayson was fun and loving, he loved playing his games, he was a baseball player. Grayson had the best laugh and it was contagious. His favorite holiday was Christmas. He had the best fun, loving personality. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a student a Pleasant Ridge Elementary School. Preceded in death by his mother, Krista Latham; grandmother, Nancy Murray; grandfathers, Howard Murray and Othie Latham. He is survived by his brothers, Bentlee and Lennon Latham; sister, Walker Maples; dad, Jonathan Sammons; grandparents, Eula and Mark Latham; great-grandmother, Susan Latham; Uncle, Mark (Amanda) Latham II; cousins, Mackenzie Latham, Grace Latham, Morgan Latham, Natalee Latham and Mark Latham III “Bubba”; many loving great-aunts and great-uncles. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. double graveside service, Rev. Mark Latham officiating.
