Kimberly A. Mehlhorn

Kimberly A. Mehlhorn, age 60, transitioned to her Heavenly Father's embrace on Thursday, May 2, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories of her kindness and love for her fur babies, her beloved dogs. She was a member of North Acres Baptist Church, Kim's compassion touched many lives throughout her journey. Preceding her in death were husband, Louis (Bill) Mehlhorn, and her father, Kenneth Hawkins. She is warmly remembered by her mother, Betty Hawkins, and her siblings: sister Robin (John) Nicely and brother William (Candy) Hawkins. Kim's nurturing spirit lives on through her nephews, Justin (Laura) Hawkins and Jarrod (Destiny) Hawkins, along with her great nieces, Teagan Hawkins and Lily Hawkins, and great nephew, Greyson Hawkins. Kim's life will be celebrated with a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Charlie Lynch, will follow at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 12:45 p.m., family and friends will convene at Greenwood Cemetery to bid their final farewells. Kim's legacy of kindness and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
