Kentha (Sweet) Farmer age 85 of North Knoxville passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and retired from K-Mart on Clinton Highway. Kentha was an avid bowler and reader. Preceded in death by husband, Curtis Farmer; son, Steve Farmer; parents, Josina and Robert Sweet; 4 sisters and a brother. Survivors; son, Mike (Tonya) Farmer; Daughters, Cheryl Buhl and Rhonda Farmer; Grandchildren; Daniel Bradley, Jamie Bradley (Preston) Barnes, Jacob (Allison) Farmer and Samuel Farmer; great-grandchildren, Brantley Barnes, Easton Barnes, Issac Farmer, Elijah Farmer and Nathaniel Farmer. Several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service, Rev. Bob Buhl officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to East Tennessee Children's Hospital 2018 W Clinch Avenue Knoxville, Tennessee 37916. Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
