Kenneth Ray Ford

Kenneth Ray Ford Sr., age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 25th, 2025, from his home in Knoxville, TN. Born on September 20th, 1963 to Reverend Earl and Gracie Ford in Tazewell, TN. He was a devoted Christian and attended Walking By Faith Ministries, and performed as a member of The Mighty Trumpeteers. A graduate of Claiborne County High School, Ken was a very devoted father and family-man. He was a Veteran of the United States Army for many years and served honorably. Ken was a true outdoorsman, with a great love for hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for travel and cooking. He loved to feed people, not just his food but the word of God as well. Ken was a very positive and generous person who touched the lives of everyone around him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Earl and Gracie Ford, his brother, Henry Ford, and his late wife Dorothy Ford. He is survived by his wife, Patcharee Ford, Son, Kenneth (Dakota) Ford, daughter, Nia (Jonathan) Gray, step-daughter Bobbie, granddaughter, Addison, grandson, Kayson, sisters Mary, Mildred, Virginia (Randy), Sharon, Barbara, Patricia (Bruce), brothers John, Ralph (Vanessa), and Phillip (Matilda), and aunt Bertha (Pete), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral will be held Sunday, January 4th, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with visitation from 5:00-6:00pm, followed by the service at 6:00pm, officiated by Prophetess Terry Tucker. Family and friends will meet at 9:45am, Monday, January 5th, 2026, at East Tennessee Veteran Cemetery on Governor John Sevier Highway for a 10:00am interment.
