Kenneth Ray Bailey

Kenneth Ray Bailey, age 85, of Clinton, was born on March 27, 1940 and joined hands with Jesus on September 24, 2025.

Kenneth grew up in Halls helping his dad deliver milk with French Broad Dairy. Upon graduating, Kenneth proudly served his country in the Army while starting his family. He returned home and worked at CCA/JSC until he retired. Ken loved his family and enjoyed his cars. Later in years, he began restoring and showing carious Studebakers. He and Nancy enjoyed going to the car shows and making many friends along the way. Kenneth loved the Lord, and all who entered his room heard the Word in message or song from his television.

Preceded in death by son, Kevin; parents, JB and Wilma; sister, Carolyn; nephew, Randy.

Survived by wife, Nancy; son, Kenny (Pam); daughter, Krista (Jim); 6 grandchildren, Mindy, Rachel, Aaron, Kendra, Bryson and Zachary; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha (Larry); 4 nephews, Jimmy, Nathan, Ronnie and Rick; many special cousins.

The family would like to thank the caring nurses at Select Specialty Hospital for the loving care they provided Kenneth during his last weeks.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a funeral service at 7:00pm. Friends and family will meet on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10:45am at Fort Sumter Cemetery for a 11:00am graveside service.
