Kelsea Elizabeth Johnson

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Kelsea Elizabeth Johnson (Witt), 33, of Knoxville, Tennessee who left us on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Kelsea was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved hard and loved long. She spent the past four years of her life with her soulmate and husband, Matthew Johnson. The love they shared was exuberant and everlasting. She was treasured and cherished by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Noonie and Leah Whitaker, her paternal grandparents, Gene and Bobbie Witt. Her in-laws, Birdie and Maynard Johnson Sr and brother-in-law Mark Johnson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Johnson. Her devoted mother, Lori Witt. Her father, Tim Witt (Catherine). Her loving sister Katie (Justin) and her nieces, Harper and Sutton Hayse. Her brother-in-law Maynard Johnson Jr and her nephew Hunter. Her cousin, Ashley Whitaker. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins and many special nieces and nephews who called her Kiki.

We will be doing a celebration of life on Saturday November 30, 2024, from 12-2 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to the Fountain City Church Building Fund, 2801 Holbert Road, Knoxville, TN 37918.
