Kaylee Blair Shackelford

Kaylee Blair Shackelford, age 20 and her precious unborn child of Powell, TN was taken from us way to soon on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was a member of Glory Church at Dante.  She was a graduate of Powell High School in 2024. Kaylee was a light in a dark world and had a force in her to be reckoned with. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a heart as big as her world and a shout that would drop the walls of Jericho. She was the type of person that told the truth. - If you didn’t want to hear it - don’t ask her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Mary Shackelford, Willie Tillman, Don Tillman and Mamaw Susan and an uncle, John Shackelford. 

Kaylee is survived by her other half--her twin sister, Haylee Shackelford; sister, Christa Shackelford; parents, Jeff and Mendy Shackelford; several aunts, uncles and cousins, too many to mention and special ”FAMILY” members at Scottie’s Restaurant, Glory Church and the Powell Community.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm-7:00pm, Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Glory Church with a funeral service to follow at 7:00pm.  Pastor Lee Murphy officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 10:45am, Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Bell's Campground Cemetery in Powell, TN for an 11:00am interment service.  Pallbearers will be some of the youth of the church.
