Kayla Danielle Perry, a beloved daughter, sister, devoted mother, and cherished friend, passed away on December 20th at the age of 39 due to injuries sustained in a car accident days earlier. Above all else, Kayla was a loving and devoted mother. Her daughters, Ava and Nora, were the center of her world, her greatest joy, and her deepest pride. Everything she did was guided by her love for them.
Kayla was also a deeply loved daughter whose presence meant so much to her family. She found peace in the simple and beautiful moments of life—being outdoors in nature, especially near the water, camping, and listening to music that spoke to her heart. Though she faced struggles in life, Kayla’s spirit remained strong. She loved fiercely, showed kindness freely, and carried a beautiful soul that touched many. While the loss she leaves behind is immeasurable, her family and friends find comfort in knowing she is now at peace with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Kayla was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bill and Rosie Perry; her maternal grandparent, Ronnie Epperson; and her uncles, Scott and Steve Perry.
She is survived by her daughters, Ava and Nora Pate, and their father, Blue Pate; her parents, Bill and Tina Perry; her brother, Brent Perry, and Alissa, and her nieces, Mckay and Collins; her maternal grandmother, Diane Madgett; her uncle, Frank Perry; as well as numerous aunts, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with a celebration of life service to follow. Reverend Mike Hall will be officiating.
