Kathy Ann Jeffers

Kathy Ann Jeffers, of New Tazewell, passed away on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on July 29, 1954, to Sonny Dyer and Pauline Goss. She was an incredibly selfless woman who always gave people a second chance. Kathy was an amazing mother, beloved grandmother, and sister. Kathy loved her family endlessly, always sacrificing for others her whole life. She was constantly worrying about others even when she needed to worry about her own health. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sonny and Pauline; siblings: Linda and Tony; daughter, Paula Kay. Kathy is survived by her sons and daughters: Tony, Kenny, James, Linda, Stacy, Chuck, and Jason. Along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Friends and family will be received from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, June 10,2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. A Funeral service will be followed at 7:00pm. Her burial will take place at Glenwood Cemetery, located on Central Avenue Pike, at 11:00am. Guests are to arrive at the Glenwood Cemetery at 10:45am on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
