Kathryn Bryant Lester (Russell)

Kathryn Bryant Lester (Russell), age 74 of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2024. She was a 1971 graduate of Carson Newman University, and an active member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Kathryn was a music teacher for Knox County Schools for 27 years.  She enjoyed teaching piano, and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents; Harvey Bryant Jr. and Eloise Bryant, husband; William Lester, daughter-in-law; Cassandra Russell.

Kathryn is survived by her children; Jennifer (Stephen) Hagewood, Leslie Russell, and Clay Russell, grandchildren; Shane, Alycia, Savannah, Seth, Akayla, Shawn, and Alex, brothers; Harvey (Donna) Bryant III, and Brandt Bryant, sister; Pam (Russ) Damas, and best friend; Sherry Roach.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, immediately followed by a 7:00 pm memorial service officiated by Dr. Alan Price.
