Kathryn Ann (Fitch) Falor, age 78, passed away on January 23, 2026. She was born on May 5, 1947, in Ludington, Michigan, the youngest of six children born to Harold O. and Frances M. Fitch.
Kathryn graduated from Ludington High School in 1965 and married the love of her life, Edwin W. Falor, in November of that same year. They shared 34 years of marriage until Edwin’s passing in December 1999.
A woman with many interests, Kathryn found joy in camping, NASCAR racing, college football, and crafting. But above all, her greatest passion was her family. She cherished her role as a grandmother and especially loved being a “Special Grandma” to her great‑grandchildren. Her family was the heart of her world, and she poured her love into every generation.
Kathryn is survived by her two children, as well as her beloved grandchildren and great‑grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory forward with deep affection.
She lived by one of her favorite quotes, a reflection of her strength and spirit: “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.” — Henry Ford
The family will receive friends and loved ones on February 7, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Services will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel 2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918.
