Katherine Davis

Katherine Noe Davis of Knoxville, TN and our larger than life and most proud wife, mother, and Mamaw reunited with loved ones in heaven on Saturday, August 10, 2024. In 1955, she and Clarence (Joe) Davis began their 69 years together, and brought six children into this world which were followed by 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, and 4 great, great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Helen (Bright) Noe, brother Chuck Noe, son-in-law Junior McDeerman, son-in-law Johnny Satterfield, and daughter Vickie (Davis) McDeerman. Known affectionately as Kat, for 87 years on this earth, her quick wit and sense of humor brought laughter to everyone she met. We know now that she is walking with Jesus and ringing the heavens with laughter as she is greeted by those who have waited patiently for her arrival. As a fierce matriarch, lifelong Vols fan, and sassy Mamaw, she will be shouting from the heavens at the referees at every Tennessee game. She is survived by her loyal and loving husband, Clarence Joe Davis; children Donna Davis Satterfield, Patti Davis Harwood, Joe Davis (Paula), Tracy Davis Sands (Tim), and Kim Davis Smith (Wes); grandchildren Wesley Satterfield, Regina Satterfield Drew (Tim), Susan Johnson Mason, John Johnson (Bronwynn), Kacie Wolfenbarger McWorter (Chase), Kaitlin Davis, Hannah Davis Klinker (Adam), Philip Hallquist (Daniel), Kristen Sands Hodge (Conner), Brett Sands; Derek Smith, Emily Smith, and Abbey Smith, also leaves behind Sister Agnes Houk, brothers Ron and Troy Noe (Patricia), also several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. On Saturday, August 17, 2023, the family will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel at 10:15am for a procession to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service.
