Karen Renea (Sharpe) Craig

Karen Renea (Sharpe) Craig, age 47, passed away rejoicing (Philippians 4:4) on June 5, 2016. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Powell where she served as a Life Group leader for 8 years and was an original board member of First Baptist Academy. She was a devoted wife and mother, and loved ministering to others. Preceded in death by mother, Joyce Gray Sharpe. Survived by husband, Bob Craig; daughters Logan and Morgan Craig; father Jack Sharpe and wife Judy Russell Smith Sharpe; brother Ken Sharpe. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Academy, Choices Resource Center, or First Baptist Missions. A Celebration of Life will be at 7 pm Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Powell with Pastor Phil Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Monroe Cemetery, Maynardville for 11 am interment. Pallbearers are Jack Simmons, Bobby Sexton, Eddie Smith, Mike Johnson, Zachary Sharpe, and Ryan Sharpe. Family will receive friends 5-7 Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Powell.
