Karen Fitchpatrick

Karen Fitchpatrick, age 78 of Knoxville, passed away on January 19, 2024. Karen lit up the room with her infectious smile and positive personality. She was a long time member of the Unitarian Church. She had a heart for Spanish Speaking people and spent a year living in Argentina as well as making frequent trips to Mexico. She worked in the Knoxville community translating Spanish as well as teaching Spanish and Biology at Clinton High School for 32 years. She then worked for the Migrant Head Start Program for 13 years. She loved shopping for antiques, traveling and spending time with her friends. 

Preceded in death by parents; Louis Edward and Julia Bernice Fitchpatrick.

Survived by; Brother; David (Debbie) Fitchpatrick, nephew; Steven Fitchpatrick, nephews; Riley and Jack Fitchpatrick; and cousins, Nancy and Sarah Fitchpatrick. As well as many close friends she has made through the years.
