Kandie Crabtree- Crider

Kandie Crabtree-Crider, age 45, gained her wings August 12th 2025. A devoted mother, beloved daughter, and compassionate caregiver, Kandie lived a life rooted in love, family, and selfless service to others. Born on October 17, 1979, Kandie’s caring nature touched the lives of everyone she met. She found great purpose in caring for others, and was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother, and she carried that role with deep pride and unconditional love. Kandie is preceded in death by her father, John “Buddy” Russell; her grandfather, David E. Crabtree; and her father-In-Law, Steve Davis. She is survived by her husband, Jeramiah Crider; son, Sean Crider (Alli); mother, Pamela Crabtree-Russell; brother, William David Crabtree; great grandmother, Geri Crabtree; nephews, Nathaniel Gage Crabtree (Hannah), Quinn Crabtree; niece, Alexis Long; sister-in-law, Ashley Long (Brian); mother-In-law, Nancy Davis. As well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Kandie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, laughter, and generous heart leave a lasting imprint on those fortunate enough to have shared in her life. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Monday, August 18, 2025, with the funeral service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Pastor Scott Kidd will officiate.
