Brown, Justen E., age 43, of Knoxville, went home suddenly on Thursday, December 4th, 2025. Justen was an avid Vols fan and patriot. He was a long-time member of the recovery community where he was affectionately known as "Goldfish." Justen had a heart of gold and loved helping people. After he reached his sobriety, he helped lead many to find and stay on the path that saved his life. He was loved by all who met him.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Brown; aunt, Barbara Stevens; uncles, Tom Morelock and Robert Brown; and mother-in-law, Frances Henegar.
Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife, Cora M. Brown; mother, Terrie Brown; brother, James Brown; several aunts, uncles, beloved cousins and a host of people that he helped along the way. 1 Peter 5:8-11.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel from 5-7 pm, with a funeral service to follow. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am on Monday, December 8th, 2025, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11am interment. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Carecuts of Knoxville, The Humane Society or the Isaiah House in Justen’s honor.
