June Morris

June Morris, age 90, of Powell, TN passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 at her home.  She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Clinton and was a member of the Smoky Mountain Antique Engine & Tractor Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Morris; father, Baskem "Smitty" Smith; mother, Ruby B. Smith; sister, Zelma Mitchell; daughters, Linda Sexton and Glenda Robinson.

June is survived by her daughters, Brenda Carswell (Terry), Kim Cordell Lawless (Wade); son, Lonas Cordell; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge and give a special "Thank you" to the staff at Shalom Hospice of Tennessee for their loving care of June.  The family would also like to thank the staff of Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel for their kindness and guidance during this time of loss.

There will be a Celebration of Life for June Morris on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at Riverview Baptist Church in Clinton, TN with Rev. Mark Kitts officiating.
