Judith "Judy" Reynolds

Judith “Judy” Reynolds, age 80, of Knoxville Tennessee went to be home with The Lord on December 27, 2023, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Bywaters; parents, Mattie and Hobart Fryar; and sister, Kay Fryar. Judy was survived by her husband of 58 years, David Reynolds Sr., Daughter and Caregiver Jennifer Owens (Danny), son Danny Johnson (Jennifer), and son David Reynolds Jr. (John Swafford).  Her grandchildren include Brianna Miller, Elizabeth Bywaters and Mitchell Bywaters. Her siblings include Jane and Gary Hardin, Linda Hicks, Neva Harrison, Donna and James Lawson, JoAnn Thompson, Sue and Bobby Cummings, Rick and Thelma Fryar, and Ken Fryar.

Judy was the most humble, loving and accepting woman anyone could meet. A lifelong Christian, she struggled and fought most of her life with the residual effects of Polio, having contracted it as a young child. Her strength, love, and acceptance were immeasurable.  Judy had a special relationship with her daughter Jennifer and grand-daughter Brianna.  They were the best of friends.
